Facility Distribution Director

ABB is seeking a Facility Manager - Distribution for its Byhalia, Mississippi location. This role is responsible for ensuring profitable business growth of an Operating Unit, with responsibility across multiple countries for all global Product Groups within a Business Unit. Oversee country-level operations management of the Unit. Tasks: Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: o Implements the Hub Business Unit strategy and ensures business development in the operating unit, with full responsibility for profit and loss (P&L). o Provides input to Hub Business Unit strategy. Evaluates opportunities in allocated local markets and decides appropriate activities in line with the strategy. o Research, design and implement innovative processes and procedures that will improve the operation. o Ensures profitable business growth through development of performance targets in line with Hub Business Unit targets and ensures achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. o Drives productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization through data analysis. o Oversees execution of high quality products, services and processes. o Monitors quality metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement in local execution, and oversees improvement activities. o Responsible for Sales demand orders and growth. o Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and improve net promoter scores (NPS). o Present information to customers, internal and external, on performance of the facility. o Ensures the execution of projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results and customer satisfaction. o Implements HSE and business compliance standards and regulations within the unit. Ensures a safe working environment and champions continuous improvement of HSE processes. o Ensures the unit is managed with integrity and personally lives the ABB values and Group standards. o Implements and ensures compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution. o Shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization. o Ensures (with HR Manager Support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. o Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
