Inventory Auditor

Logistics Operations Americas is part of GTO and has approximately 1,000 employees in more than 20 locations within the region. Our job is to design, handle and optimize the supply chain for all Volvo Group brands. The scope for Logistics Services includes making sure material is delivered to the production facilities, packaging is available, vehicles are distributed to the dealers, and that management of material, warehouses and distribution ensures the availability of parts everywhere in the world. Description/Job Responsibility
The primary role of the Inventory Auditor in the distribution warehouse is to support the inventory control duties as directed by the Quality & Inventory Supervisor by implementing, following, and enforcing inventory control practices and procedures. These duties include but are not limited to conducting daily inventory cycle counts and cycle count reconciliations, consolidation of materials, and review of inventory reports.
Duties of Position
+ Conduct daily cycle counts and cycle count reconciliations
+ Review inventory reports and determine root cause of inventory discrepancies
+ Fork lift, Order Picker, Reach Truck Operation
+ Systemic consolidation of materials in our WMS
+ Physical consolidation of materials using industrial fork lift equipment
+ Assist formulation with location discrepancies and substitutions
+ Facilitate support of all departments and subsidiary requests concerning inventory discrepancies
+ Coach, train, mentor, recommend discipline when necessary
+ Maintain good housekeeping practices
+ Must be available to work over time when called for by business need
Experience and Educational Requirements
+ High School diploma/GED or relative work experience (4 years of relative work experience)
+ 2+ years in a distribution or warehouse environment
+ Strong math skills and communication skills
+ Prior fork lift training and certification preferred
+ Strong computer skills
+ Experience with WMS
+ Experience with MS Office
+ Detail oriented
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Strong oral comprehension and expression skills
+ Able to work independently or with a team
+ Must be able to organize, plan, and prioritize work
+ Dependability with a sense of urgency
Physical Requirements
+ Able to work 40+ hours per week on their feet in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
+ Able to lift/move up to 70 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. frequently
+ Walk long distances repeatedly, bend, stoop, and climb stairs or ladders
+ Work in an environment that is dusty and may contain spices with high heat
+ Regular kneeling, reaching, handling, fingering
+ Talking/ hearing conversations
+ Vision requirements: near and far visual acuity/visual accommodation
+ Ability to work in cold and hot temperatures

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
