Warehouse Operative - Split Case Order Filler

Summary:
Responsible for accurately filling orders to containers using Radio Frequently (RF) unit, sealing container upon completing the order; keeping locations fronted and removing top box flap; filling Special Handling orders as directed while emphasizing focus on safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping to meet the daily goals and objectives.
- Receive work assignment from Team Lead
- Use RF unit to locate and pick product from designated location
- Consult with inventory control to resolve stock issues
- Enter missing product in RF for replenishment
- Maintain open communication via 2-way radio
- Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE at all times
- Meet and maintain department quality/productivity standards
- Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift and at designated times
- Ensure inventory accuracy by following documented procedures
- Ability to isolate issues and find creative ways to solve practical problems
Working hours: 1st shift - 6:00am to 4:00pm or 3rd shift - 8:00pm to 6 :00am
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Working knowledge of MARC warehouse systems and RF scanner experience
- Not afraid of heights - ability to work at all module levels (pick module has 3 levels)
- Basic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to operate motorized equipment (Forklift, Order Picker/Reach Truck, Pallet Jack)
- Ability to read and interpret documents and count inventory accurately
- Required to climb, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time throughout shift
- Detailed and team oriented
- Flexible to work different shift if necessary and overtime with little or no notice
